Drew Kennedy, CFA

Drew Kennedy, CFA, has served as Chief Financial Officer of Spatial Genomics since 2018, helping to raise millions in funding. In addition to fundraising and financial oversight, Drew is involved in developing business strategy and leads various administrative initiatives across the business. Prior to Spatial Genomics he was a buy side equity analyst at Fairbanks Capital Management and Abdiel Capital Advisors, where he was responsible for biotech investments. Drew received his MS from Columbia University, where he worked under Nobel Laureate Prof. Joachim Frank, and his BS in Biology from UC San Diego.
