Long Cai, PhD

Long Cai is a Professor of Biology and Biological Engineering at Caltech. His lab helped pioneer the field of spatial genomics by imaging the transcriptomes of cells within their native tissue spatial context. For this work, Dr. Cai has received the NIH New Innovator Award, Transformative Award, and Paul G. Allen Frontiers Foundation Distinguished Investigator Award. He is a co-founder of Spatial Genomics Inc.
